Job Description

Supercheap Auto, a specialty retail business with over 300 stores across Australia and New Zealand, is seeking two Assistant Demand Planners for a 7-month fixed term contract in our Support Office located in Strathpine, Brisbane. The role will involve providing support to the demand planning team, helping complete all necessary demand planning activities, and facilitating the delivery of key deliverables.

Day to Day Responsibilities
  • Supporting your team to ensure we have the right amount of stock in the right place at the right time to satisfy customer needs
  • Gaining an understanding of how to forecast demand and manage supply to agreed target levels
  • Running analysis and making recommendations for approval from your Senior Demand Planner
  • Providing administrative and reporting support for the Demand Planning team
  • Helping manage key daily or weekly tasks when category Demand Planners are away
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in planning or analytical roles in either retail or FMCG industries (desirable but not essential)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, with strong communication skills and an ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to interpret and analyse data
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Exposure to SAP / JDA (Blue Yonder) or similar systems (desirable not essential)
