As part of Queensland Rail, you will help align supply chain, demand, and inventory planning with the business strategy. You will engage with maintenance, project management, and supply chain and procurement teams to deliver insights that drive smarter decisions.
Responsibilities- Engage stakeholders to understand their current activities, pipeline, and challenges.
- Analyse qualitative stakeholder insights and quantitative historical data to develop forecasts and demand plans.
- Review inventory levels, stock on hand, and incoming orders to ensure supply meets demand.
- Provide actionable insights on risks such as PO delays or changing ETAs and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support the delivery of integrated supply chain initiatives that balance operational needs with long-term growth.
- Strong project management skills to reach milestones throughout the project life cycle.
- Experience in contract management and consultation on complex issues to arrive at solutions.
- Expertise in progress reporting, risk management, project scheduling, and procurement activities.

Relocation to Brisbane by start date is required for applicants residing outside Queensland; full-time remote work or fly-in/fly-out arrangements are not supported.
