Senior Associate in Disputes Role

As a senior professional in our disputes and economics practice, you will collaborate with clients on financial, accounting, and economic matters in litigation and other disputes.

You will work directly with some of Australia's most experienced litigators and expert witnesses to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare thorough damage assessments, valuations, analyze technical accounting issues, prepare comprehensive economic analyses, and conduct detailed financial investigations.
  • Develop complex financial models in Microsoft Excel, including DCF analyses, to support business decisions.
  • Draft high-quality expert reports and other critical deliverables that meet the highest standards.
  • Nurture relationships both internally and externally to drive collaboration and success.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a manager, assistant manager/supervisor, or senior consultant/analyst in a forensic or disputes practice is essential.
  • A post-graduate qualification, preferably CA, or on-track completion within the next 12 months is required.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in building financial models, are crucial for success.
  • A flexible approach to problem-solving and critical thinking is vital in this role.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills are necessary to effectively engage stakeholders.
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders is key to delivering results.
