Develop Real-Time Simulation and Machine Technology Software

Immersive Technologies, a global leader in mining equipment simulators, is looking for a skilled software engineer to develop real-time simulation and machine technology software for the mining industry.

This role involves developing software for real-time simulation, low-level hardware interfacing, web development, and data management and analytics. You will work across a diverse technology stack, including simulating mining machines and mine sites, replicating complex cabin designs and electronics, developing advanced graphics and stereoscopic 3D, and designing both hardware and software.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop software for real-time simulation, low-level hardware interfacing, web development, and data management and analytics.
  • Work across a diverse technology stack, including simulating mining machines and mine sites, replicating complex cabin designs and electronics, developing advanced graphics and stereoscopic 3D, and designing both hardware and software.
  • Contribute to solutions for driverless mines and build cloud-based solutions and data analytics for the mining industry.
  • Collaborate within teams in a casual and friendly atmosphere, embracing lightweight, industry best-practice processes focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of at least the first two years of a relevant degree in computer science, games technology, mathematics, physics, engineering, or similar.
  • Experience programming in an object-oriented language such as C++ (primary language) or C#, with exposure to other languages considered a plus.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and working across a diverse technology stack.
