About the Role

We're seeking a talented UX Designer to collaborate with our team at Switch, an award-winning digital agency. As a UX Designer, you'll play a critical role in shaping the user experience for our customers, working closely with product management, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market analysis, customer research, and feedback to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Design and iterate on concepts, interfaces, components, and other design deliverables in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Develop personas, customer journeys, conceptual diagrams, sketches, wireframes, and prototypes to ensure customer requirements are clearly captured.
  • Translate business objectives and customer research into user stories, creating clear and concise design briefs.
  • Collaborate with developers to implement designs, ensuring seamless integration and effective communication.
  • Facilitate design workshops with external stakeholders, driving collaboration and innovation.
  • Conduct user testing sessions, gathering valuable feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Maintain documentation of design decisions, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a design-related role, with a proven track record of delivering customer-first projects in complex, fast-moving environments.
  • Strong understanding of UI design best practices, usability principles, and techniques.
  • Experience with design tools, such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate and justify design decisions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and standards.
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum environment.
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS, with experience in designing for multiple devices.
  • Experience with user testing and user research, including conducting moderated and unmoderated testing sessions.
  • Basic video editing capabilities and experience with designing for large enterprise-level CMS platforms.
