- Execution of the control strategy to improve risk and control management for retail products.
- Escalation point for complex product risk governance and control matters.
- Providing control expertise and opinions on the end-to-end health of the control environment across product lines.
- Implementing group risk policies and frameworks for risk management.
- Managing internal and external audit requirements.
- Frequent engagement with counterparts on monitoring, controls, and remediation issues.
- Increasing risk awareness and capability within the team.
The role supports the senior manager in enabling and validating that colleagues deliver best-in-class products, propositions, and processes while mitigating associated risks.
