We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to perform key nursing tasks and provide high-quality patient care in a correctional centre setting.
This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
About the Role:As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive health assessments, planning and implementing individualized nursing care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
You will also be required to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing reception screening and comprehensive health assessments of all persons received into custody
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management
To be successful in this role, you must have current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, at least one full year of experience as a Registered Nurse, and a current NSW Driver Licence.
You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
