Emergency Department Clinical Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The successful candidate will provide clinical expertise, support, and education to nursing staff within the unit, ensuring best practice and quality patient care.

About the Role

The Clinical Nurse is responsible for providing clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise and support to nursing staff
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives
  • Mentor and educate nursing staff on clinical procedures and protocols
  • Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification
  • Highly desirable: postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field
  • Extensive experience in Emergency Department and Adult Life Support certificate
Benefits

  • Salary range: $54.44 to $58.30 p.h.
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
