Job Title: Art Director

At Tantalus Media, we're seeking an exceptional Art Director to lead our creative vision and drive the artistic excellence of our games. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for guiding a team of artists, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and overseeing the artistic process from concept to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a cohesive artistic vision across entire projects
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of artists
  • Manage complex art production pipelines, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Balance creative ambitions with technical and production constraints
  • Collaborate with game design, engineering, and production teams to achieve project goals
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fine Arts, Digital Art, Game Design, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6+ years in the gaming industry, with at least 3 years in an art leadership role
  • Strong understanding of industry-standard game engines and creative software
  • Demonstrated ability to define and maintain a cohesive artistic vision
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of artists
