Job Title: Treasury Dealer

As a Treasury Dealer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our treasury and investment functions. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure accurate cash positioning, liquidity management, and investment decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Ensure daily cash position is accurately captured, monitored, and reported, with material variability explained">
  • Develop and enhance cash flow forecasting models to support investment decision-making">
  • Oversee portfolio administration, including trade capture, security set-up, settlement oversight, and counterparty monitoring">
  • Support the Portfolio Manager in the investment of surplus funds, making trade recommendations, executing trades, and maintaining market relationships with external counterparties and brokers">
  • Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to align liquidity management with investment strategies">
  • Conduct general and ad hoc market research and analysis to inform investment decisions">
  • Identify opportunities to improve the cash flow forecasting processes by enhancing efficiencies, systems utilization, data accuracy, and delivery of business insights">
  • Take ownership of investment reporting, ensuring accuracy and leveraging third-party service providers, including Treasury Management System">
  • Analyse portfolio performance and provide insights and recommendations for strategic adjustments">
  • Comply with Risk & Governance culture by ensuring all trade activity is in accordance with policy and regulatory limits">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

You will need:

  • ">
  • Experience in an Investment or Treasury function within a regulated environment, ideally APRA-regulated">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills">
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of investment concepts and relationships">
  • Strong knowledge of fixed income security types and concepts">
  • CFA qualification (completed or partial completion) is highly regarded">
