HPC Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced HPC Infrastructure Specialist to provide front-line support for our 24/7 Linux HPC environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for large-scale Linux HPC environments
  • Solve complex problem reports and questions posed by research communities
  • Respond to system alerts in a timely fashion
  • Participate in coordinated maintenance operations
  • Work on global projects across various infrastructure domains
  • Develop diagnostic and resolving code for difficult problems
  • Collaborate with team members to create testing infrastructures
  • Manage relationships with external vendors
  • Implement performance monitoring and fault detection systems
  • Develop and improve documentation

Requirements

  • At least 2+ years of experience with Linux systems
  • High proficiency with at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Go, Python, C)
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects independently
