Residential Life Coordinator

The Residential Life Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students residing in our boarding facilities. This critical position involves overseeing the effective operation of the boarding house during various shifts, providing support and assistance to students in a safe, caring, and positive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students in the boarding house
  • Oversee the effective operation of the boarding house during various shifts
  • Provide support and assistance to students in a safe, caring, and positive environment
  • Relate effectively with boarders from diverse backgrounds
  • Work independently, manage tasks within a set timeframe, problem solve, and communicate effectively

The ideal candidate will possess a compassionate understanding of adolescent girls and the challenges they may face living away from home. They will also have experience working with groups of young people, as well as a working knowledge of legal requirements for working with students in a school environment.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Senior First Aid Certificate (with current CPR)
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Responding to Abuse and Neglect Training Certificate (Fundamentals and Masterclass)
  • Protective Practices for education and care staff and volunteers training
  • Disability Standards for Education for senior secondary training
