**Electronic Trading Lead**
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead the development of an in-house electronic trading platform for Interest Rate Swaps (IRS) products. This is a senior, hands-on engineering role that demands deep expertise in Java, distributed systems, and financial market technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Architect and implement RFQ workflows, pricing integration, trade execution logic, and dealer UIs.
- Lead development of the eTRS application for electronic trading of IRS products including outrights, flys, spreads etc.
- Drive industrialisation of the eTRS engine, managing timing issues and race conditions.
- Publish trade and curve data to analytics platforms for further analysis.
- Deep expertise in Java (8/17), Spring Boot, and distributed systems architecture.
- Experience with IRS market platforms such as Tradeweb and MarkitWire.
- Strong understanding of IRS instruments, pricing conventions, and swap templates.
- Familiarity with AWS services, Kafka/EventHub, DevSecOps/CI/CD technologies as well as modern SRE technology.
