About the Role

We are looking for a motivated individual who is committed to providing outstanding food service support. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality food preparation and cleaning services that meet the highest standards of safety and hygiene.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and tidy environment for all food service-related areas of the hospital
  • Prepare and serve food to a high standard, ensuring excellent presentation and flavor
  • Clean duties, including fridges and preparation areas, kitchen area, and dish wash area
  • Monitor and record relevant food safety data, adhering to strict guidelines and protocols
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful team culture, fostering open communication and collaboration

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Demonstrate knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements, holding a basic food handlers certificate
  • Show flexibility in working various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, as part of a 7-day rotating roster
  • Display a track record of providing great customer service and experience, prioritizing patient satisfaction and comfort
  • Evidence effective communication skills, ability to work autonomously, and respect for colleagues and patients alike
  • Possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment
  • Show enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service, embracing change, and driving continuous improvement

At Healthscope, we prioritize quality and safety for our patients, staff, and visitors.
