Defense Issuance Officer

The APS 3 Defense RTO Issuance Officer plays a critical role in supporting the processing of issuance requests from Education and Training stakeholders, ensuring timely outcomes for Defence training and assessment.
Key Responsibilities- Data administration and processing tasks to support issuance requests for Statements of Attainment or Qualifications as national Vocational Education and Training (VET) accreditation, in accordance with national VET Legislation and Standards for RTOs.
- Maintaining accurate RTO issuance records to meet VET compliance requirements.
This position is part of the Defense RTO Issuance team within the broader Registered Training Organisation and the National Skills Framework team. Collaborative work with the Issuance team is essential to quality assure data administration and processing aspects, as well as maintaining compliance with legislated standards.
Requirements- Experience working in a registered training organisation (RTO) is desirable but not required, and a willingness to undertake study to achieve a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is preferred.
- Ability to apply skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to provide advice and support for straightforward data administration and management activities.
This position offers a competitive compensation package including an estimated salary range of $67,339 - $74,197 + up to 15.4% Superannuation per annum. This will be discussed further during the selection process.
