Health Informatics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Health Informatics Specialist to partner with our team in delivering patient-centred care.

This is a key role that requires strong clinical, ICT and governance knowledge domains. The successful applicant will have extensive experience in the design, build and implementation of digital tools in healthcare settings.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and have experience in health information management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate between clinical, ICT and governance knowledge domains to ensure business and stakeholder alignment
  • Establish standards and patterns for system design
  • Lead and facilitate design discussions at relevant clinical design governance working groups
  • Drive high-level analysis and support while facilitating strategic advice to support clinical projects

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in the design, build and implementation of digital tools in healthcare settings
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across a multi-disciplinary team
  • Systems-thinking problem-solver who understands human-centred design, lean and agile principles
  • Health Informatics qualifications and certifications are highly desirable
  • Experience in health information management is also desirable
