We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team of professionals committed to delivering exceptional service.

  • This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to install, diagnose and repair complex medical imaging products in accordance with customer requirements and specifications.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills and be able to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting installations of X-ray systems and other medical devices
  2. Analytically diagnosing and performing repairs on medical equipment
  3. Performing remote diagnostic procedures on customer sites
  4. Performing preventative maintenance as scheduled and in accordance with policies
  5. Travelling throughout Victoria and interstate to carry out duties
  6. Taking ownership of service situations from inception to resolution
  7. Documenting service calls, expenses and time reports daily and submitting to the Service Desk on a weekly basis

Requirements include:

  • Hold or be eligible for any required electrical and/or radiation licenses
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Electrical, Engineering or similar technical qualifications
  • Have proven experience in electro-mechanical service and repair work, preferably in Medical Imaging products
  • Have basic IT knowledge of Windows operating systems, PC repairs and installations, databases, networking, storage etc.
  • Be familiar with the setup and configuration of Medical Imaging standards such as DICOM and HL7
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a strong customer service focus
  • Hold a valid driver's license
