Job Description

We are seeking a skilled excavator operator to join our production mining team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery in a mining production environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mining production, with a strong understanding of ore mark ups and pit configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate PC1250 excavators in hard rock mining environments
  • Loading dump trucks in a mining production setting
  • Mining out benches and cutting batters, leaving minimal material for final trim
  • Familiarity with HR drivers license (desirable)
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years mining production experience
  • Certifications: Equivalent to or specific experience operating PC1250 essential
  • Skill Set: Sound knowledge and understanding of ore mark ups and pit configuration
  • Licenses: Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times
