About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Art Gallery Trainee. This exciting opportunity will see you work alongside experienced art professionals and assist them in the delivery of art education and public programs and events, front of house and customer services and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and perform a variety of art gallery administrative functions.
  • Work alongside experienced art professionals and assist them in the delivery of art education and public programs and events, front of house and customer services and administration.
  • Gain exposure to curatorial services, collection management and participate in the design, marketing and promotional activities including those on social media, website or newsletters.

Requirements:

  • High School Certificate and have not completed any other subsequent qualification.
  • Be computer proficient (particularly Microsoft Office Suite; MS Word, Excel and Outlook).

  • Competitive Remuneration Package: in accordance with Award depending on age and highest year of school completed + superannuation.
