Our company is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Reliability Engineer to join our team.

This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the reliability and availability of our strategic shipbuilding project. The successful candidate will utilise their expertise in reliability engineering to identify areas for improvement in existing systems.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Investigating reliability issues and presenting findings through our Engineering Investigation process;
  • Developing and maintaining processes and procedures to optimise asset reliability;
  • Consolidating and maintaining a comprehensive RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) documentation suite;
  • Performing modelling and analysis related to reliability, availability, and safety.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A valid Security Clearance;
  • A Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent field;
  • Experience in reliability engineering or lifecycle cost analysis;
  • A good understanding of the Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) process.

Desirable skills include experience working with Defence major/mission systems and knowledge of ISO 55000 Asset Management principles.
