Senior Mental Health Specialist

This is a key role in the multidisciplinary healthcare team responsible for coordinating recovery for individuals with severe and complex mental health disorders.
The position provides expert clinical services, collaborating with consumers, carers and care providers, using an integrated approach.
Key Responsibilities- Develop initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Support individuals experiencing distress, grief, anger and anxiety.
The Western NSW LHD's Youth Drug & Alcohol program offers a youth-focused response, providing treatment options. The goal is to reduce harm by taking a multi-disciplinary and evidence-based approach.
About the Position- Employ innovative skills and interventions to support individuals seeking assistance with alcohol and drug use.
- Provide respectful, person-centred care tailored to each individual's needs.
- Use a holistic approach to care, incorporating comprehensive planning to address diverse physical, emotional and social aspects of each person's journey.
