About the Company

Our client is a prominent player in the food production sector, with regional operations based in rural Victoria. Due to ongoing expansion, a vacancy has emerged for a supply chain planning expert to oversee their forecasting and supply/demand planning activities.

About the Role


Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Demand Planner is tasked with ensuring that inventory levels align with anticipated customer requirements. This role also involves active participation in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a rolling demand forecast over a short-term timeframe in a dynamic, highly promotional setting. Guarantee inventory availability for a wide-ranging customer base while adhering to the company's inventory management policies. Uphold inventory accuracy across the supply chain through effective cross-functional communication and detailed analysis. Enhance stock turnover rates while minimizing the presence of slow-moving and obsolete inventory. Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a Demand Planner position within a fast-paced, intricate planning environment. Background in demand and supply planning within a manufacturing context is preferred. Strong leadership abilities coupled with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities. How to Apply
