We are seeking experienced and compassionate professionals to join our dynamic Emergency Department team on a permanent basis.
About the Role:- Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department and Short Stay Unit, catering to diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds.
- To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the Medical and Allied health team.
- To work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team environment to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- To participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities provided by our organisation.
- AHPRA registration.
- Proven nursing skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to use initiative, negotiate, and problem-solve in a complex and dynamic setting.
- A commitment to undertaking our organisation's Mandatory Competencies and education opportunities.
- Previous Emergency Department experience.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing.
- Paediatric Postgraduate qualification (given the high percentage of paediatric cases).
- Passion for ongoing professional development in Emergency Department nursing.
