Job Title: Support Care Specialist

CarePro is seeking an experienced Support Care Specialist to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.

  • Community Access: Provide opportunities for individuals to participate in community activities, fostering social inclusion and empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Shifts: Work flexible hours, including morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of working on public holidays and weekends.
  • Client Care: Provide individualized support to clients with a range of abilities, including those who use wheelchairs or have cerebral palsy.
  • Mandatory Qualifications:
    • Cert III, IV in Disability or Aged Care Services or Certificate in Individual Support
    • National/International Police Check
    • Working With Children Check
    • NDIS Screening Check
    • Infection Control Training
    • Vaccination record against COVID-19
    • First Aid Certificate (including resuscitation)
    • Valid Driver's License and access to an insured vehicle
    • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination status, including booster
    • Introduction to the NDIS training module certificate
    • Comprehensive car insurance
Requirements
  • Experience working in the disability sector, preferably with one year of experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
