About this Role

Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to join their team in the Southern Region of Sydney. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for delivering excellence in numerous programs of works across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the work and performance of multiple teams and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes.
  • Lead and manage a program of works over a long-term project, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and in-house workforce, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on health, safety, and environmental management, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, activity reports, and other documentation as required.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial and financial costs, including budgets and financial implications.
  • Review and implement design documentation, ensuring compliance with specifications and drawings.
  • Identify and mitigate risks prior to works commencing, communicating with stakeholders to control risk and promote a risk management culture.
  • Select, train, and develop workers, ensuring observance of safety standards and fair application of industrial agreements.
  • Plan and procure resources to fulfill project requirements, ensuring safe and cost-efficient management of materials, plant, and equipment.
  • Provide positive leadership to ensure quality and standard of workmanship performed in accordance with specifications and drawings.
  • Maintain effective consultation with stakeholders, referring major issues to the Construction Lead.
Requirements
  • Trade qualification or similar.
  • Substantial industry experience.
  • Technical competency and understanding in area of expertise.
  • People and performance management of subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labor.
  • Demonstrated leadership in health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Current driver's license.
  • White Card.
