The Role

The Senior Payroll Officer is a key member of our Payroll team, responsible for the day-to-day payroll operations and managing the performance of the team when the Payroll Manager is on leave. This role requires a high level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing and answering Payroll Officers' queries
  • Annual Leave, Long Service Leave, and Sick Leave reconciliations
  • Timekeeping, ensuring accurate hours and rates are adjusted accordingly
  • PeopleSoft reports, including Employee Listing, Years of Service, Employee Languages, and Leave of Absence
  • PeopleSoft queries, including missing shifts, incorrect hourly rates, and employee deductions

About You

We're looking for someone with previous high-volume payroll/finance experience, a high level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work unsupervised and within a team environment, and show initiative.
