About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Solutions Architect to join our team at MF&A, a Fujitsu company. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of cyber solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop Scalable Solutions: Design and develop scalable and robust cyber security solutions aligned with the Essential 8 strategies to enhance cybersecurity posture across systems and networks.
  2. Ensure Alignment: Ensure alignment of service provider architecture documentation and departmental IT delivery methodology architecture requirements.
  3. Create Implementation Plans: Create detailed implementation plans for integrating security controls, based on Essential 8, into existing and new programs.
  4. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business and UCT stakeholders, including application and operations teams, developers, project managers, and security teams, to ensure secure design and seamless implementation of cybersecurity measures.
  5. Identify Risks and Vulnerabilities: Identify potential cybersecurity risks, assess vulnerabilities, and propose necessary mitigations through the development of threat models and key mitigating controls.
  6. Review Solution Architecture: Review solution architecture and artefacts.
  7. Design Secure Architectures: Design secure architectural patterns and frameworks.
  8. Solution Cloud and On-Prem Network Technology: Design and document cloud and on-prem network technology designs and documents to guide security solution delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Desirable Experience

The following experience will be highly regarded:

  1. IT Solution Architecture Experience: Extensive IT Solution Architecture experience in a large enterprise environment.
  2. Critical Assessment: Ability to critically assess business requirements and document level and detailed system, network, or infrastructure designs whilst considering enterprise strategy and industry best practice.
  3. System Solution Designs: Experience in developing, presenting and obtaining endorsement of system solution designs, as well as architecture principles, standards, and guidelines.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Ability to collaborate, communicate, and engage effectively with business partners and system support teams on complex technical issues including strategies, planning, governance, and risk management to share information, build consensus and drive positive outcomes.
