We are seeking a skilled Fleet Allocator to join our team in Altona, Melbourne. With over 90 years of experience providing responsive, safe and innovative transportation solutions across the eastern and southern regions of Australia, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate loading/unloading of company and subcontractor vehicles efficiently
  • Schedule and position company trailing equipment for optimal utilization
  • Manage customer bookings and provide service support
  • Maintain effective communication with drivers and customers
  • Review and sign off driver run sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Review and manage vehicle documentation, including service requirements
  • Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to road compliance laws and company safety policies

Requirements:

  • Experience in allocating and scheduling construction/heavy haulage equipment (preferred)
  • Strong commitment to Safety and positive safety leadership
  • Intermediate computer and data entry skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously or within a team environment
  • Comprehensive fleet allocation and load planning skills
  • Professional manner when dealing with customers
  • Good work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
  • Flexibility with varying start times
