About the Position:

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading our educational programs and ensuring that they align with the Australian Curriculum. Key qualifications include:

  • Extensive knowledge of the Australian Curriculum
  • Experience in leading Before After After End Moderation processes
  • Ability to lead visible learning through assessment for learning, Reading to Learn pedagogy, Inquiry based learning, Age Appropriate Pedagogies, Bump it Up Walls and effective feedback

Desirable qualities include:

  • Experience in leading case management processes
  • Understanding of support processes for students with complex learning needs, including First Nations students, SWD and students in out of home care

The ideal candidate will also possess:

  • Experience in leading pedagogical reform through digital technologies
  • Experience with implementation of critical and creative thinking across Learning areas
  • Ability to lead the implementation of Age Appropriate Pedagogies and Inquiry Learning

It is desirable that the successful applicant has knowledge of:

  • 21st century skills
  • BYOD iPad programs
  • Apple Learning Leader capabilities, particularly in leading the use of iPads as a tool for learning, creating and communicating
