Our organization seeks a highly skilled Administrator to join our team in a full-time position, Monday to Friday inclusive. This role will support our dynamic team in delivering high-quality care services to the community. As part of a patient-centric organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional care for patients.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with experience in oncology or radiation therapy administration. In this collaborative environment, your responsibilities will include:

  • Patient liaison: Welcoming patients, answering calls, managing correspondence, and scheduling appointments.
  • Patient administration: Billing, accurate data entry in our management system, and managing records.
  • Liaising with hospitals, specialists, and allied health professionals.
  • Supporting doctors, coordinating with nurses, and assisting allied health staff in delivering patient care.

You will be responsible for:

  • Demonstrated ability to work with empathy and compassion.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask.
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Experience in a hospital or day hospital setting is desirable.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in a medical practice or oncology setting is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with Medicare, DVA, and Private Health Insurance.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use multiple software systems and proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
