Major Responsibilities :

  • Act as a technical expert for day-to-day queries and serve as a liaison to related areas.
  • Maintenance and implementation of policies and procedures in the function, building towards becoming an area expert.
  • Ensure accurate complex fund valuations, distributions, calls / drawdowns and other calculations
  • Prepare financial reports ensuring conformity to professional and regulatory requirements. To include the review and maintenance of client general ledgers, trial balances, preparation of quarterly accounts and capital statements for private capital.
  • Support the development of new products or client opportunities by preparing research materials.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure first-class delivery of professional and efficient service to clients.
  • Contribute to the team's growth and progress by thinking outside the box and adding value.
  • Improve services and resolve issues by looking at ways to enhance processes.
  • Train and discuss accounting issues with others to ensure their understanding is sufficient to book-keep transactions appropriately within the team.
  • Evaluate and maintain all procedures to ensure they are up to date and adhered to daily.
  • Generate process and system enhancement ideas and coordinate their introduction after approval from the department Head with supporting documented procedures.

Requirements :

  • Demonstrate excellent analytical, consultative, communication, and judgment skills.
  • The ideal candidate will hold an accounting qualification.
  • Show an understanding of Private Capital and keep up to date with developments.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in communicating directly with clients and other senior stakeholders.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel Skills and knowledge of Investran would be an advantage.
  • Good team player, self-starter, flexible, with the ability to work under pressure.

Experience :

Five or more years of related business experience.
