Temporary Employment Register

The Temporary Employment Register provides an opportunity for potential applicants to register a general expression of interest in employment with the Commission. This register allows the Commission to access appropriately skilled and experienced applicants at short notice for temporary, non-ongoing employment.

  • Available opportunities include APS4 roles such as Client Services Representative/Case Manager, Assistant Advisor (Permits and Lodgments), Assistant Agreements Officer/Agreements Officer, and Associate. Additionally, there are APS5 positions available, including Research Officer and EL1 Conciliator.

To be eligible for employment, applicants must be Australian citizens and undergo a National Police Check. They must also meet any mandatory qualification requirements for the position.

Benefits of Joining the Register

Applicants can join the Temporary Employment Register by submitting an online application through the Commission's e-recruitment system and uploading their resume. Note that registration does not guarantee employment, and applicants will only be contacted if their skills and experience match operational requirements.

The Temporary Employment Register remains active for twelve months, after which time applicants must renew their registration by re-applying. Registered applicants will receive a reminder renewal registration email before the register expires.
