Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Site Manager to lead and coordinate on-site activities in line with the construction program. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and efficiently.

This is a senior site-based role with direct responsibility for managing teams, resources, and site performance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure health and safety compliance with best practice standards.
  2. Manage, coach, and mentor site staff.
  3. Plan and control site construction activities for maximum productivity and resource efficiency.
  4. Maintain quality assurance and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and environmental requirements.
  5. Monitor construction programs, updating progress weekly.
  6. Collaborate with the Project Manager on operational issues affecting timelines, cost, or delivery.
  7. Oversight of site setup and maintenance of safety codes in partnership with safety supervisors.
  8. Build strong professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, authorities, and consultants.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Building & Construction (minimum).
  • Minimum 6+ years experience in a Site Manager role on high rise construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings, providing constructive design feedback.
  • Strong organisational, leadership, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written communication and administration skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Professional, proactive, and able to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
