About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Cloud Software Development Expert to lead our cloud-based projects.

Responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud development principles and patterns, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
  • Key responsibilities include creating, implementing, optimizing, debugging, refactoring, and reusing code to establish and improve performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
  • The successful candidate will also collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements, drive identification of dependencies, and develop design documents for products or applications.
  • Additionally, they will leverage subject-matter expertise of product features and partner with stakeholders to drive project plans, release plans, and work items.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across several teams, problem-solving skills with ability to quickly adapt to new technology and go deep.
  • 2+ years minimum experience with workload/container orchestration using Kubernetes or similar platforms.
  • 1+ years experience with container runtimes such as Docker, Rkt, runC, containers and how they are enabled by the underlying OS components.
