About This Role

This key position focuses on procurement, contract management, and stakeholder engagement. As a vital member of the project team, your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive contracting strategies, managing contractor relationships, performing contract management activities, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners, and building proactive relationships across diverse project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing contracting strategies that align with project objectives.
  • Managing contractor engagement from initial tendering through contract close-out.
  • Performing a range of contract management activities including claims assessment and dispute resolution.
  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders and partners to foster synergy, promote transparency, and drive value within the project.
  • Building and maintaining proactive relationships across diverse teams.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in managing high-value capital contracts from inception to completion.
  • Strong capabilities in drafting, evaluating, and negotiating contracts.
  • Expertise in assessing claims and resolving disputes with a focus on commercially sound outcomes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • A solutions-focused mindset with strong commercial acumen to address challenges creatively and strategically.
  • A current right to work in Australia.
