The Labour Hire Authority's mission is to protect Victorian workers and improve transparency in the labour hire industry.

We regulate businesses that provide or use labour hire services, licence providers, monitor compliance, and support providers, hosts, and workers to understand their legal obligations.

Established to administer the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2018 (Vic), we are an independent agency funded by licence fees from labour hire businesses.

About The Position

This key management role leads our licence monitoring strategies, operational policies, and procedures.

You will lead a team of Licence Monitoring Officers, team leaders, and subject matter experts to identify and respond to non-compliance in the labour hire industry.

In the initial stages, your primary role will be to consolidate the establishment of the Branch, including hiring staff, developing policies, systems, and processes, and scheduling monitoring activities consistent with our regulatory priorities.

You will also identify and report on issues and trends arising through our varied monitoring activities.
