Coulson Aviation Australia is a subsidiary of global aerial firefighting leader Coulson Aviation, supporting Australian States and Emergency Service Organisations with the provision of heavy aircraft and experienced team members. The company operates a high-paced year-round operation, providing a diverse fleet of aerial firefighting and emergency services assets, including fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. These assets consist of a Boeing 737 FIRELINERTM, Citation and King Air Command/Control aircraft, CH47D Chinooks, UH60 Blackhawks and Bell 412 helicopters.
Job Overview
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Fixed Wing Pilots to join the flight operations team in Richmond, NSW. As a member of the team, you will have the unique opportunity to protect and support communities flying multi-role aircraft. Key tasks will include air transport, ISR, Bird Dog and Air Attack on firefighting, flood response, search and rescue and disaster relief operations. Specialized training will be provided for the right applicant.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Australian CPL(A)
- Australian IR-MEA
- Australian Class 1 Medical
- 2000 hours Total Time (A)
- 1000 hours Command (A)
- The legal right to live and work in Australia
Preferred Experience
Prior experience in aerial firefighting/application operations, agricultural/mustering/low level rating, and 500 hours MEA Command will be highly valued. Additionally, a Cessna 560 or Beechcraft BE350 Type Rating, Instructor/Flight Examiner qualifications, and ATPL(A) will be preferred.
