Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement communications plans to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including media, community groups, and City employees.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create high-quality content for our publications, social media channels, and website.
- Lead and support a team of communications professionals to deliver exceptional communications outcomes.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Executive and Elected Members, to promote City projects and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze data to refine our communications strategies and maximize awareness, readership, and engagement.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced communications professional who can lead our team and drive our communications strategy forward. You will have a strong track record of developing and implementing effective communications plans, as well as experience in leading and managing a team.
You will be a highly skilled writer and communicator, with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. You will also have a strong understanding of the local government sector and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
