About the Role

We are seeking passionate and qualified English educators to join our team of dedicated professionals in the ACT Public Education system. Key Responsibilities
  • Teach English to students in years 7 to 10, using a range of teaching methods and resources to engage and motivate learners.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and ideas to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and technologies.

Requirements
  • A four-year full-time tertiary education qualification in English or a related field.
  • A valid approval to teach with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI).
  • A Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
  • An approved working status, including Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid working visa.
