About the Role
This role offers mentorship and career development opportunities, with the potential to step into supervisory responsibilities from day one or as you gain experience. You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS / IAS for various clients
- Providing business advisory services, including tax planning and structuring
- Ensuring compliance with Australian tax laws and regulations
- Liaising directly with clients to offer strategic solutions and financial insights
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Working closely with partners and senior staff to expand technical expertise and commercial acumen
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- CA or CPA qualification (or part-qualification and working towards completion)
- 3+ years' experience in business services, tax, or advisory within an Australian public practice firm
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation, compliance, and advisory services
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and eager to progress within a growing firm
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
