Regional Truck Driver Position

Nussbaum Transportation seeks a skilled and reliable driver to fill this position.

Overview of the Job:

This role involves driving OTR routes with a home weekly schedule, ensuring efficient door-to-door delivery of goods.

  • Complete practical miles, both empty and loaded
  • Perform pickups, deliveries, trailer relays, and shuttles as required
  • Maintain high standards of safety and quality

Compensation Package:

  • Earn a competitive salary based on experience
  • Weekly guarantee: $1,200 - $1,250 (based on experience)
  • Tenure-based increase in mileage rate up to +$0.50 per mile
  • Driver Scorecard Bonus: +$0.02-$0.08 per mile
  • Certified RED Bonus: +$0.02 per mile
  • Activity pay for work done, not just miles run: $20 for pickups and deliveries; $12 for trailer relays and shuttles; $20/hour detention pay (starts after 1 hour); $270-$280/day layover pay

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • At least 6 months of recent experience or completion of our training program
  • Valid CDL A license
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
  • Meet all other Nussbaum requirements

Early Exit Option: If you decide within the first 90 days that Nussbaum isn't the right fit, you'll receive a $1,000 bonus. Must haul for 30 days and separate before 90 days
