Freight Transport Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced professionals to operate a B Double express freight run from Brisbane to Sydney and back.

The position involves driving a large goods vehicle along the New England Hwy, loading and unloading freight at various depots, and ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating the B Double express freight run from Brisbane to Sydney and back.
  • Loading and unloading freight at designated locations.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and handling freight in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's licence for heavy vehicles.
  • Experience with Auto Road Ranger gearboxes.
  • Proficiency in driving a B-Double and performing long-distance hauls.
  • Ability to conduct pre-start checks on prime movers and trailing equipment.
  • Knowledge of coupling and uncoupling procedures.
