Expert Palliative Care Specialist Role

This is a pivotal role in delivering compassionate, coordinated care within Nepean Hospital's Palliative Care service. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will ensure patients and their carers experience a seamless journey from hospital to home with dignity and support at every stage.

You will bring advanced clinical expertise and autonomy to the provision of complex nursing care, working within a multidisciplinary team.

This role is clinically demanding and meaningful, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact on vulnerable patients and their families.

As an expert nurse, you will lead a team to improve patient outcomes through education, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

The ideal candidate will have post-registration qualifications or at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in Palliative Care or other relevant qualifications/experience.

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA
  • Post-registration qualifications or at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in Palliative Care or other relevant qualifications/experience
