Job Summary

The NSW Health eHealth team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Specialist to contribute to enriching health through digital innovation.

  • Design, implement and maintain high-availability and scalable architectures.
  • Manage policies across multi-tenant environments.
  • Provide expert advice on network security and architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

This role requires expertise in network security engineering, including intermediate knowledge of cloud-delivered security services or SSE technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network security, excellent troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and CIS Controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical roadmaps and business processes for operational matters.
  • Participate in the consultation process as the SME of SSE platform.
  • Collaborate with the team, wider business and external partners.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in network security engineering.
  • Intermediate knowledge of cloud-delivered security services or SSE technologies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and CIS Controls.
