Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Stockland's Sydney office on Castlereagh St.

The Opportunity

As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting Stockland's growth strategy. You will possess strong accounting skills, particularly in consolidating management reports across diverse business sectors. Excellent communication and presentation abilities are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of consolidated management reports for Stockland's entire development portfolio (Actuals and forecast/budget).
  • Collaborate and foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders such as Development Finance, other FP&A teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and accuracy in reporting.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the Senior Finance Manager to support decision-making.
  • Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities, communicating findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy, including moving into a dashboarding environment.
  • Support development feasibility financial modelling where required.
  • Deliver upon ad hoc management reporting requests.

About You

You are a highly qualified finance professional with CA/CPA credentials (or in the process of obtaining them), and bringing over 5 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis. Your advanced Microsoft Excel skills along with dashboarding knowledge will complement your expertise. Key strengths include business partnering and collaboration, high attention to detail, strategic thinking, time management, and being a team player.
