Job Description

As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for managing financial data, preparing reports, and analyzing business performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and analyzing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings, and invoicing;
  • Preparing and analyzing weekly cashflow forecasts, financial and non-financial performance reports against agreed KPI's, budgets, and forecasts as well as trends;
  • Variance analysis and providing commentary around actual results compared to budget and forecasts;
  • Assisting the business in budgeting and forecasting, developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures;
  • Continuous process improvement to ensure the team remains in line with best practices;
  • Supporting the annual audit, including creation of workpapers, actively creating and improving existing reporting, systems, and processes;
  • Working with Management Accounting and Transactional Finance Teams to ensure all group reporting deadlines are understood and met;

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum 3-5 years' experience in a commercial environment;
  • High level expertise in Microsoft Excel;
  • CPA/CA qualified;
  • Tertiary level education in Accounting or similar.
