About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Team Leader to join our Finance department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a large team in a complex environment, ensuring hospital billings are completed in accordance with set KPIs and collections are completed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a large team in a complex environment
  • Monitor billing activity across multiple billing streams
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting on a regular basis
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve billing and collections processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • Demonstrated specialist experience in leadership roles with billing, collections, and billing reporting
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting (or a related field) and CPA/CA qualified (or working towards)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in dealing with private health funds, Medicare, and NDIS disability service systems
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement and best practice implementation
  • Demonstrated commitment to work and contribute as part of a team
  • High degree of computer literacy, including a solid understanding of Microsoft Office products, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook, and capacity to quickly learn new financial software systems
  • Experience with digital health systems, including PBRC
