Job Title: Ict Project Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organisation.

The role of the Project Officer is to support the Enterprise Program Management Office in enhancing its project management capability. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project planning, developing work breakdown structures, creating cohesive schedules, and ensuring their ongoing integrity.

Key responsibilities include monitoring schedule trends and variances, preparing concise performance reports, and working with the Program Controller to manage project meetings, minutes, and action items. Additionally, the Project Officer will assist in administering the master schedule, develop and maintain a suite of project management tools and templates, and contribute to projects to help achieve organisational operational objectives.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring a strong analytical foundation, adept at using risk models such as RAID logs and Monte Carlo simulations. You'll be proficient with MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, and skilled in project management tools like MS Project and Planner. Complemented by strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills, you'll understand project scheduling methods and project cost and budget management.

A qualification in project management or business administration and knowledge of PMBOK methodologies are desirable, underscoring a comprehensive understanding of project governance and best practice.

You will be offered a contract on an excellent hourly rate and the ability to negotiate a flexible working arrangement after an initial induction period.
