About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Sales Assistant to join our team at Globe Home Timber & Hardware. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, answering customer queries and providing expert advice
  • Assist with stock management, including receiving and storing goods, and maintaining a high standard of store presentation
  • Participate in ongoing training and development, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of products and services

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for delivering a high level of service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of hardware and building trades, with a willingness to learn and develop skills
