About the Training Officer Role

The role is responsible for delivering training programs to Adult Community Corrections staff, including foundation training for front-line staff working in custodial and community settings. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver foundation training programs for Adult Community Corrections staff, focusing on developing skills and knowledge required for effective service delivery.
  • Inform and advise senior leaders on emerging issues and trends, contributing to strategic decision-making and policy development.
Eligibility/Qualifications
  • A qualification in Certificate III of Correctional Practice (Adult Community) is required for this position.
  • To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the public sector, you must be a citizen or have resident status in Australia.
